Robin Lea Photography is a full-service luxury newborn photography studio located in Ottawa, Ontario, specializing in capturing those precious newborn photos during the first few week of life. I tailor a custom session of your dreams to create stunning portraits of your sweet baby using the finest props, wide selection of backdrops and adorable outfits. Moms are pampered too, with complementary hair and makeup and full access to the studio closet of couture gowns.
My goal is to create stunning fine art portraits and beautiful printed keepsakes to hand down to your children one day. The Newborn Session Experience
Pre-session Discovery Call
When you inquire, I'll share what sets my studio apart to make to make it a truly memorable experience. From there I'll invite you to book a discovery call to hear your vision for the session and provide a custom quote to suit your needs.
Upon booking, we'll go over all the details so that I deliver a session that exceeds your expectations! We'll discuss set colours, choose a gown from my client closet, and coordinate outfits for the rest of your family. I'm here to guide you every step of the way.
The Session experience
During your session, my team will take care of everything while you have a much deserved break. We begin by treating you to professional hair and makeup by the incredible L.A. Barrett, a masterful makeup and hair artist hailing from New York City. Whether you're looking for glam look or something more natural, she will ensure you're camera-ready and feeling your best!
Professionally trained in safe newborn posing techniques, you can be rest assured that your baby is in safe hands with Robin. We offer beautiful, high-end props, a gorgeous selection of backdrops (see backdrop gallery), designer baby outfits, couture gowns for mom. dresses for older siblings, and outfits for boys. I want to take care of your every need and not have to worry about getting ready and rushing out the door with a newborn.
Family is always welcome in newborn sessions, including both parents, siblings and extended family too! My goal is to include anyone who will play a special role in your baby's life. These photos are meant to be passed down, so family portraits are so important. After family poses, you can relax on the sofa, have an espresso, enjoy the complementary lunch, use the unlimited wi-fi, watch Netflix, or even take a nap! This is your day!
Post-Session
1-2 weeks after your session you'll be invited to an in-person gallery reveal, either in the comfort of your home or here at the studio. I'll share all the best images from your session on the large screen, and guide you in narrowing down your portraits to a collection that's right for your family. At this time you'll place your order and products will be delivered right to your door. There are no pre-made packages here, you only select the photos you love!
